PROGRES is a 4GL/ABL programming language for OpenEdge, a platform used to develop business applications by Progress Software Corporation. The language uses English-like syntax and semantics for easier coding in database operations, user interface development, and general application logic. PROGRES features include graphical tools for developing interfaces and managing databases as well as tools for debugging code.
