VariCAD is a computer-aided design software for mechanical engineers. It offers tools to create 2D and 3D models, parts and assemblies. VariCAD supports feature-based parametric modeling, where you can define geometries through parameters. The software provides libraries of standard mechanical parts, such as screws, nuts, pins and springs. In addition to the core modeling functions, it also has tools for sheet metal unbending and bending simulation. VariCAD offers data exchange through formats like STEP or IGES.
